Your IvyPrep Journey

Pathways & Admissions Strategy

The path to university is a journey of discovery, growth, and planning. We first support students through modular 6-session blocks, each with a clear purpose and outcome.

Step by step, families can choose what’s most helpful next.

In the application year, students who have completed an Admissions Strategy block can proceed to our University Admissions Mentoring programme.

Mentoring Blocks

Each block has 6 sessions and lasts 3–4 months (valid for up to 6 months). All are led by a Lead Mentor, with specialist mentors joining for 2 sessions to provide specialist perspectives and insights. This structure ensures we establish a strong working relationship and build a solid foundation before committing to the unlimited admissions consulting phase.

The Mentoring Blocks

Select a block below to view its full session-by-session outline.

Discovery

6 Sessions • 3-4 Months

Students intentionally explore specific fields such as Finance, Psychology, Medicine, or Law. Students meet professionals and alumni to understand what these academic journeys and careers involve.

Students design and complete a self-directed project in an area of interest. This deepens learning and often creates a profile-worthy achievement for university applications.

Skills Development

6 Sessions • 3-4 Months

Students receive training in key skills such as communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving — essential for both admissions and future success.

Resourcing & Resilience

6 Sessions • 3-4 Months

Students learn to manage stress, sustain motivation, and build healthy routines. They leave with a personalised resilience plan and tools to thrive during school and applications.

University Admissions Mentoring

Requires Completion of Admissions Strategy Block

Once students complete the Admissions Strategy block, they progress into our full Admissions Mentoring programme, working closely with their Lead Mentor through unlimited sessions across the admissions cycle. The Lead Mentor anchors continuity, while the wider team, including Specialist Mentors, provides additional input where needed. This ensures students benefit from continuity and breadth of expertise — and families gain confidence knowing there is a clear team in place, not reliant on a single consultant.
